Students may bring a computer. Computers are not required of students and students can do everything they need to do for school without a computer. The school provides access to computers through the school computer lab and library for students who do not own a computer.
Students have the opportunity to access the internet for communication with family and friends. They may use the school library for this purpose and each dorm has internet access as well.
Students must use their assigned username and password to access the internet. Using another student’s information to access the internet is a serious offense.
Students may access the internet only through the school’s network. During the school day, students are to use the school’s computers to access the internet. Personal computers are to be used to access the internet only through the dorm’s wifi network.
Students are allowed to use the internet only during the specified times established by each dorm. Students are not allowed to take their personal devices off campus to access the internet.
The school reserves the right to inspect any files/information stored on a student’s computer. The student must provide any passwords or security codes upon request. Failure to do this will result in not being allowed to possess a personal computer.
Downloading or viewing pornography or unsuitable materials is a serious offense and is likely to result in expulsion.
