The following steps are included in the application process:

Step 1

Pay your Application Fee and complete and submit the application documents below. These include the application itself along with parent and student questionnaires.

Step 2

Arrange for your school to send a copy of your most current transcript or grade report to admissions@mchs4u.com or to the school mailing address.

Step 3

Once your application has been received and reviewed, arrangements will be made to complete an interview with the admissions officer. If you are remote, this interview will be conducted, by phone, Skype, Zoom or some other platform. If you are applying as an international student, the admissions office will also get you scheduled to take the Duolingo* online English assessment. You will be contacted by the admissions office to complete this step.

Step 4

Once these steps have been completed, your application will be evaluated by the admissions committee and you will be notified of their decision. If you are accepted, you must complete the enrollment process. The admissions office will provide you with further information. (For international students, this will require you to receive an I-20. You then take the I-20 to apply for a student visa.)

*The Duolingo English Test can be taken online at any time. It is a fast and inexpensive alternative to other options. It takes approximately 45 minutes and costs $49. The exam uses computer-adaptive technology, meaning that the questions will automatically adapt to each test-takers ability, generating a different set of questions for every session. It also integrates a video interview and writing sample. The exam requires a supported browser and your computer’s self-facing camera and microphone. The test session is recorded and verified by a Duolingo proctor, and the results are available within 24 hours.
