WE ARE ONLY 500 points away from earning another $1400 toward supplies and equipment for the elementary school! Mt. Carmel works with a company that pays us cash for recycled inkjet cartridges, laser cartridges, old cell phones, laptops, and other electronic equipment.

So don’t throw it away! Instead of dropping them in the trash, drop them off at the school office. Every single item will go towards equipment for the school.

ON OCTOBER 6, the elementary went on a field trip to Camp Nathanael. It was called “Celebrating Climate and Seasons… Delightful Diversity.” We went to different workshops that represented different countries and they told us what the weather was like at that time of year. Some of the places we learned about were Africa, Asia, Europe, Costa Rica, and the Polar lands. The students got to buy souvenirs like sombreros and other international items. They had fun walking over the swinging bridge. They really enjoyed themselves! Read on for pictures …
